Do you know that we’re circling the sun at a distance of more than 150 million kilometer? The sun’s so far that the sunlight we’re seeing now is the light that was released 8 minutes ago. But do you know that this distance is also the right distance for life? A little closer and the earth will be extremely hot, a little farther and the earth will be too cold.

Do you know that the sun is really, really, bright? You're not supposed to look directly into the sun, or else you'll hurt your eyes. It may even blind you.

Do you know that the sun is very, very old? Its age is about 4,5 billion years old. Old as it is, the sun still has about 5 billion years more to spare. For comparison, humans first exist about 100.000 years ago. Our existence is nothing but a mere blink of an eye of the great sun.

Do you know also that the sun never stay still? As the universe expands, the sun is caught in its current and drifting aimlessly in the void, dragging the planets of the solar system with it. It will not be a lonely journey, though. Sooner or latter, we are bound to meet other star or stars. Some may even go into collision course with us...

So, life keeps giving you hardships, and sometimes you feel you are close to your breaking point. What to do, what to do? You're then thinking to walk the plank, to make a deep cut on your wrist and just let it fly loose. What  is that? Blood, of course, you silly thing. Or maybe you're thinking to make a jump for it, for the paper plane flying thirty stories above ground level. Perhaps it won't hurt so much? At least it won't be as painful as the pain you're feeling right now.

But then you realise you are in love with someone. Love, however painful, keeps you alive. It gives you hope everyday. You know that you have to struggle, and to have a go for it. For life. Because without life, you know that you can not have the love that you want so bad.

But then life keeps giving you hardships...
